Program Overview

With cyber-crime on the rise, there is a growing need for trained professionals with cyber security expertise. Keiser University’s hands-on Bachelor of Science in Cyber Forensics/ Information Security degree completion program is designed to help prepare students who have already earned an associate degree in computer-related fields for successful careers in this exciting profession. 

This program will provide you with the knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills needed in this field. You will receive a strong foundation in information technology security tools and forensic techniques increasingly needed by most organizations today. You will also learn how to detect and assess system weaknesses and help devise solutions that will protect against cyber-attacks.

Are you just starting out? No problem!  If you don’t have an associate degree in a computer-related field, begin with your AS in Information Technology degree from Keiser University.

Cyber Forensics/Information Security

Program Objectives

The Bachelor of Science in Cyber Forensics/Information Security provides information technology professionals with the theoretical and practical knowledge they need to make strategic decisions about information security issues such as access control; secure application development; business continuity planning; operational, physical, and architectural security; and telecommunications and network security. Graduates can sit for the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam and are prepared for successful careers as chief information officers, chief security officers and network forensic specialists. This program is designed to meet the requirements of the National Security Agency (NSA) Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) curriculum.
