Health and Human Performance is a field that offers unique and varied job opportunities. When you graduate, you’ll be qualified to perform health and fitness assessments, monitor and motivate individuals with exercise prescriptions and conduct exercise sessions.
Keiser University offers both an Associate and Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Performance.

Associate of Science in Health and Human Performance
The associate degree prepares students for entry-level health and sports-related positions. As a student, you will take classes in exercise physiology, nutrition and weight management, sports medicine and first aid, exercise leadership and sports psychology. You will also have the opportunity to learn about health risk factors, basic biomechanical principles, and how to prevent and treat injuries while you develop hands-on skills in the externship program.
Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance
Our bachelor’s degree prepares students to conduct advanced health and fitness assessments, monitor individuals with exercise prescriptions, and make lifestyle modifications for clients. You’ll learn about health risk factors, exercise leadership, prevention and treatment of injuries, biomechanics of movement, and physiological adaptations to exercise. You’ll also gain knowledge and expertise in managing your own health and wellness-related business and utilizing sports marketing and promotion techniques.

The Associate of Science Degree in Health and Human Performance prepares students for entry-level health, wellness, and fitness positions in settings such as:
